Inspired by Cooper Hole, this artwork captures the vivid blue water, rocky edges, surrounding evergreens, and the peaceful mountain setting that make this place feel so special.

Cooper Hole sits along the Cooper River, which feeds into Cooper Lake, and it’s a wonderful place to stop for a picnic, relax by the water, and enjoy the scenery. On warm summer days, you’ll often see local teenagers cliff jumping into the deep blue water, which gives the area such a fun, adventurous atmosphere.

Like every place throughout my collection, Cooper Hole is somewhere I’ve personally experienced before bringing it home to draw.

The original artwork was created by hand on my iPad using my Apple Pen, with many hours spent building the water, rocks, trees, surrounding hillside, and small details one piece at a time.
