Enumclaw
Enumclaw, Washington Artwork
Some towns are beautiful because of what’s in them. Enumclaw is beautiful because of what surrounds it.
I spend a lot of time in Enumclaw, and one of the things I never get tired of is the incredible presence of Mount Rainier. From so many places around town, the mountain seems to rise above the landscape — enormous, unmistakable, and sometimes so clear it almost doesn’t look real.
The particular view featured in this artwork is one I came across while driving along a quiet backcountry road outside Enumclaw. With the open pasture, rural fencing, surrounding forest, and Mount Rainier towering in the distance, it felt like the perfect representation of the area: peaceful, agricultural, and unmistakably Washington.
Like every location in my collection, this is a place I’ve personally experienced before bringing it home to draw. The original artwork was created by hand on my iPad using my Apple Pencil, with dozens of hours spent carefully building the mountain, layered foothills, meadow, fencing, trees, and small details that give the scene its sense of place.
This artwork is available as a fine art print in 12 × 18, 18 × 24, 24 × 36, and 24 × 44 inches, making it perfect for anything from a smaller accent piece to a dramatic statement in a farmhouse, country home, cabin, office, or Washington-inspired space.
Whether you call Enumclaw home, have spent time exploring the surrounding countryside, or simply love those unforgettable views of Mount Rainier, this piece is a celebration of one of Washington’s most beautiful small-town landscapes.
Bring the adventure home.
