Some mountain views become part of the journey itself.

Rising dramatically above Snoqualmie Pass, Guye Peak is one of those unmistakable landmarks you begin to recognize long before you reach the mountain. It can be seen from Interstate 90 in both directions, making it a familiar and much-loved sight for locals, skiers, snowboarders, and anyone who regularly travels across the Pass.

This artwork captures one of my favorite views of Guye Peak — the perspective you see while traveling from Summit Central toward Summit West. With the mountain towering ahead, the road leading toward it, and the surrounding evergreens framing the scene, it’s a view that instantly feels like Snoqualmie Pass.

Like every location in my collection, Guye Peak is somewhere I’ve personally experienced before bringing it home to draw. Each piece is created by hand on my iPad using my Apple Pencil, with dozens of hours spent carefully building the mountain, road, trees, seasonal color, and all the little details that make the scene feel true to place.
