Some adventures are impossible to forget.

I’ve visited Isla Mujeres three different times, and on my most recent trip I had the incredible experience of swimming with whale sharks. That moment became the inspiration for this piece, capturing the turquoise water, tropical coastline, and marine life that make the island so unforgettable.

Like the places throughout my collection, Isla Mujeres is somewhere I’ve experienced for myself before bringing it home to draw. Each piece is created by hand on my iPad using my Apple Pen, with dozens of hours spent building the details, color, and atmosphere.
