This Lake Cle Elum artwork is one of the original four drawings I created when I first started my business, making it an especially meaningful piece in my collection. Long before I Love Washington grew into what it is today, this was one of the artworks that helped begin the journey.

Inspired by the dramatic mountain scenery surrounding Lake Cle Elum, this piece captures the deep blue-green water, rugged peaks, evergreen forests, and quiet alpine atmosphere that make this part of Washington so special.

Like every location in my collection, Lake Cle Elum is somewhere I’ve personally experienced before bringing it home to draw. The original artwork was created by hand on my iPad using my Apple Pencil, with hours spent building the mountains, lake, trees, light, and small details that give the scene its sense of place.
