Red Top Lookout
Red Top Lookout Artwork
Bring a piece of Central Washington adventure home with you.
Red Top Lookout is one of the most meaningful pieces in my collection because it was one of the original four drawings I created when I first started my business. Before I Love Washington grew into a larger collection of mountains, lakes, ski resorts, National Parks, and other places I love, Red Top Lookout was part of the very beginning.
Located near Cle Elum, Washington, Red Top Lookout sits high above the surrounding forest and rocky landscape, with expansive views across the Central Cascades. I wanted this piece to capture not only the lookout itself, but also the drama of the setting — the dark rocky foreground, silhouetted trees, and vivid sunset sky glowing behind the historic tower.
Like every place in my collection, Red Top Lookout is somewhere I personally visited before bringing it home to draw. The original artwork was created by hand on my iPad using my Apple Pen, with many hours spent building the lookout, rocks, trees, shadows, and intensely colorful sky one detail at a time.
This artwork is available in multiple sizes, making it easy to create anything from a smaller accent piece to a bold statement wall:
12 × 18 in
18 × 24 in
24 × 36 in
24 × 44 in
For me, Red Top Lookout is more than a beautiful Washington destination. It represents the early days of I Love Washington and the beginning of a much bigger mission to celebrate the places people love through art.
