Schweitzer
Schweitzer, Idaho
There’s something unforgettable about standing high above the mountains at Schweitzer and looking out across layer after layer of snowy peaks.
This artwork was inspired by the incredible views from Schweitzer in northern Idaho, capturing the long ski runs, snow-covered evergreens, distant mountains, and that unmistakable feeling of being surrounded by winter.
Like every location in my collection, Schweitzer is somewhere I’ve personally visited before bringing it home to draw. I created the original artwork by hand on my iPad using my Apple Pencil, spending dozens of hours building the landscape, mountain layers, trees, snow, and skier one detail at a time.
The finished piece is designed to celebrate more than just a ski resort. It’s about the memories that come with mountain days — fresh snow, cold air, long runs, and those moments when you stop halfway down and simply take in the view.
This artwork is available as a fine art print in 12 × 18, 18 × 24, 24 × 36, and 24 × 44 inches, making it easy to choose anything from a smaller accent piece to a dramatic statement for a ski cabin, mountain home, office, or living space.
Schweitzer is also part of my wider mission to personally visit and illustrate every ski area in America — one mountain, one adventure, and one drawing at a time.
