Celebrate one of Cle Elum’s most beloved local landmarks.

Inspired by Sun Country Golf Course, this artwork features the course’s signature Hole #15, capturing the sweeping green, surrounding trees, mountain views, and the peaceful Central Washington landscape that makes this course such a special part of the Cle Elum community.

Sun Country is more than just a beautiful golf course — it’s a local favorite, and I wanted this piece to capture the character of a place that so many people here know and love.

The original artwork was created by hand on my iPad using my Apple Pen, with many hours spent building the fairway, green, surrounding landscape, and distant mountain views one detail at a time.

This drawing also led to a really special connection with Sun Country. After the owners saw the finished artwork, they loved it so much that they commissioned me to create a second piece featuring Hole #4. Both artworks are now hanging proudly inside their restaurant, The Nine Iron, right at the golf course.
