One of the things I love most about living in this community is how often people come together to support local organizations that make a real difference. Events like this remind me how special this little corner of Washington truly is.
On March 26th, the Upper County Co-op Preschool will be hosting a Dinner & Live Auction at the historic Brick Saloon in Roslyn. The evening will bring together friends, families, and local businesses for a night of good food, great company, and some truly incredible auction items — all in support of the preschool.
The event begins with doors opening at 5:00 PM, followed by the live auction at 6:45 PM. Tickets are $40 per person (21+), which includes a dinner entrée and entry into door prize drawings for $100 Visa and Amazon gift cards.
There will also be a silent auction, 50/50 raffle, and a dessert dash, making it a fun and lively evening while raising funds for a great cause.
The auction lineup includes some fantastic items donated by generous local businesses and community members, including:
• 32 hours of skilled carpentry labor from Squared Up Builds
• A butchered and wrapped hog from Teanaway Custom Meats
• A tankless water heater with installation from Grant Mechanical
• Custom white oak nightstands from Hill Cabinets
• A Suncadia stay & play package (one night at the lodge plus golf for two)
• $1,000 credit from Patriot Paving
• Loads of gravel from Mountain Top & Engles Trucking
And many more items including family photo sessions, a Great Wolf Lodge package, a Milwaukee chainsaw bundle, excavation services, gym memberships, and artwork from local artists.
I am very happy to contribute to the event as well by donating some of my artworks to the auction, and I’m honored to be included alongside so many other generous businesses and artists supporting the preschool.
Community events like this help keep small organizations like the Upper County Co-op Preschool thriving, and they’re also a wonderful opportunity to gather with neighbors and celebrate the place we all call home.
If you’d like to attend, reservations are required, and parties of four or more can reserve by contacting Cody at 503-757-6592.
For those who decide last minute, walk-ins will be available after 6:00 PM with a $20 cover (dinner not included), though seating will be limited.
If you’re able to attend, it promises to be a fun evening supporting a great cause.
And who knows… you might even go home with some beautiful new artwork.
